¶We had to cut down a tree in the backyard after it lost its hold in the ground. It started leaning over the fence a few weeks ago and it just wasn’t practical (and maybe not even possible) to save it. We labored over the decision a bit, but finally asked the arborist to cut it down the other day. They told me it would be a few weeks before they could get to it. I was surprised to see it gone when I came home from work today, and a bit shocked. I feel like I didn’t have a chance to give it a proper goodbye. Sad to see a tree go.
