¶Hutchinson is right — the GOP is at a “past v. future” crossroads. It’s a little weird, too, because its newest members, the Trumpers, want to steer it back to the past on instruction from their overlord, while some of its long-standing members, those that came to the party long ago for the core principles of fiscal responsibility and small government, realize they’ve been duped and are trying to move to the beyond the trump nightmare.
