¶Today is Renee’s and my twenty-fourth anniversary. Picked up some flowers on the way home.

¶The first two lawsuits under the Texas anti-abortion law have been filed…by pro choice plaintiffs.
¶Had we still lived in Chicago, this would have made a perfect, last minute anniversary outing for Renee and me.
¶The morning commute brought some excitement today: “very low” tire pressure…and a train. I was actually trying to add air to one of my tires this morning, only to find a hole in the hose and learn that I was actually removing air! So I headed out to find a gas station with an air machine…only to be met by this train. Happy Monday morning!
¶A combination of natural infection with SARS-CoV-2 and an mRNA vaccine might provide some level of super protection. I think there’s a subset of the unvaccinated who are relying on their prior natural infection as justification for skipping the vaccine. Turns out, getting the vaccine might make them the fittest of all.
¶Yeah, me too. I’m recovered, though. Mostly.
