RIP Grandma Phyl

My grandma passed away today. At 95, she was my last living grandparent; her passing is the end of a generation in my family.

As a grandmother, she was nothing short of incredible. She and my grandfather, who passed 15 years ago or so, spoiled all of their grandkids. Shopping for school clothes, giving us free reign at “the lake,” and taking us to movies our parents didn’t want us to see. She really was great.

I had a fairly idyllic childhood, and I owe a lot of that to her.

Rest In Peace, grandma Phyl.
