¶Renee miscalculated the amount of milk needed in a recipe yesterday. She discarded the carton before realizing she had poured out too much. Never being wasteful, she put the remainder in a jar. So I’m having some sketchy-looking milk with my Cheerios this morning!

¶The Ann Arbor Costco has bourbon (and other liquors)! Some decent finds, too. Looking forward to trying this local (Michigan) craft bourbon.

¶My initial thought with maple syrup aged bourbon is to not use a sweetener, which has me wondering about how it will work in an old fashioned. But my second thought is to double down, maybe using some actual maple syrup as a sweetener. Time to experiment.
