Little River Sunset

Headed down to the river for the sunset tonight, and am glad I did - everything fell into place perfectly. Got some beautiful shots!

I got in position just as the sun centered on the stretch of the river near Davis Overlook. Set up the tripod and took this shot straight away.

The trees split rays perfectly as the sun dropped behind them.

The sky even had just enough cloud cover to provide beautiful colors after the sun had set…and the river was calm enough to give a killer reflection.

The tripod is set on a pile of logs and twigs that accumulates at the bend. Not exactly a comfortable position, but the angle was perfect.
